We are thrilled to share our journey with you as we prepare for our wedding celebrations in Zanzibar! Here’s a little sneak peek into how it all began:

‍How We Met
‍At the age of 16, Mihir & Nikita were brought together in the bustling halls of Beauchamp College. What started as this simple, light-hearted friendship, soon flourished into something truly special. Fast forward 12 years and here they are, ready to start their next chapter in life together.

‍Mihir, originally from London, moved to Leicester and into the same town where Nikita was born. Fate brought them together and their journey began with a chance meeting at school. However, it was on New Year's Eve that everything changed.

‍A New Year's Eve to Remember
‍2012 New Years Eve – picture this: Mihir finally mustered up the courage to surprise Nikita at Olives café bar (owned by Nikita’s parents at the time), by sneaking in to see her. With only her cousin Rianna as a witness, amongst the festive cheer, he asked her to be his girlfriend. Of course, he had to make a quick exit before her family discovered that this friend of hers, was now actually her boyfriend. This short moment was filled with youthful love and excitement, yet with no realisation that they would one day marry each other. Since that evening, their anniversary has always been celebrated on New Year's Eve, cherishing the moment that started it all.

‍The Next Chapter
‍As we eagerly anticipate our wedding day and the adventures that lie ahead, we are filled with gratitude for the love and support of our family and friends. We cannot wait to celebrate this special moment with all of you and to embark on the next chapter of our journey together. We are so grateful to have you by our side as we say “I do” and begin our happily ever after.
